Bugis Street has officially launched a refreshed Level 2, introducing a new experiential zone that transforms the popular shopping destination into a vibrant hub for creativity, community and self-expression. Known as a favourite among both locals and tourists, the mall’s latest revamp moves beyond traditional retail by bringing together immersive experiences, local independent brands and interactive spaces designed to engage a new generation of visitors.
At the heart of the refreshed level is Somewhere @ Bugis Street, a new concept developed in collaboration with Invade, the team behind Artbox and Fleawhere. Designed as a retail playground for youth, the space combines curated pre loved fashion, independent local brands, creative workshops and community activities with facilities including an exclusive lounge, podcast rooms, open deck turntables, creator spaces developed with schools and art institutions, and interactive rooms for visitors to explore.
Every weekend, Somewhere @ Bugis Street will also host a large-scale market featuring around 40 booths run by thrifters, crafters and creators. Shoppers can browse pre loved fashion, handmade accessories, collectibles and other unique finds while taking part in activities throughout the space.

To celebrate the official launch on 25 and 26 July, Somewhere @ Bugis Street will present CLOSET RAID, a special edition market featuring booths curated by some of Singapore’s popular fashion content creators. Visitors can also enjoy complimentary DIY keycap charms and other giveaways during the launch weekend.
Complementing the new concept is a carefully curated selection of homegrown independent brands that reflect Singapore’s evolving youth culture and creative scene.
Singapore founded lifestyle brand Ruby Merlot, which also operates in Seoul, opens its first physical store at Bugis Street. Known for its thoughtfully designed bags and journals, the brand will also host experiences such as journal customisation sessions, weekend junk journaling workshops and community gatherings that encourage creativity and connection.
Creamie Sippies, which built its following through live TikTok beverage sessions before opening Singapore’s first matcha mill café, will debut its latest concept with a Banana Pudding Bar. Visitors can customise their own banana pudding using a range of toppings, sauces and seasonal specials while pairing their creations with the brand’s signature mini beverages.
White Pixies introduces Singapore’s first dedicated Candle Bar experience, offering hands on workshops where guests can create personalised candles, perfume balm charms and diffusers through seven signature crafting experiences.
Photography enthusiasts can also visit Standard Photo Studio, which reimagines the traditional photo booth with a self-shoot experience across four themed rooms, including a uniquely Singapore inspired Hawker Room. Guests can personalise their printed photo strips with unlimited beads at a DIY station to create customised photo keychains.
The transformation extends beyond Level 2, with Bugis Street preparing to welcome Myth Jinn Escape Room, an exclusive new concept making its Singapore debut. Existing attraction Xcape Singapore will also expand with refreshed premises and brand-new escape room experiences.
With the launch of its revitalised Level 2, Bugis Street continues its evolution from a traditional shopping destination into a lifestyle space that celebrates local creativity, independent businesses and community experiences. The refreshed concept aims to give visitors more reasons to return, whether to shop, create, learn something new or simply connect with like-minded people.
