Singapore’s largest sake discovery event is set to return this July as Sake Meguri 2026 brings together more than 20 Japanese breweries and over 200 premium sake labels under one roof for a weekend dedicated to the artistry, culture and flavours of Japan’s iconic beverage.

Organised by Sake.sg, the fourth edition of Grand Sake Meguri will take place at the Peony Junior Ballroom at the Sands Expo & Convention Centre, marking the event’s debut at the venue. Spanning three specially curated sessions, the festival is expected to attract more than 1,000 attendees, offering both seasoned sake enthusiasts and curious newcomers a rare opportunity to explore the breadth of Japan’s sake culture without leaving Singapore.

As interest in premium Japanese cuisine and beverages continues to grow locally, Sake Meguri 2026 aims to bring together the people, traditions and craftsmanship behind Japan’s celebrated drink. Visitors will have the chance to sample and purchase a wide range of premium sake while engaging directly with master brewers from Japan, gaining insights into the heritage, production methods and stories behind each bottle.

Building on the success of previous editions, this year’s festival features an expanded roster of participating breweries, including Katsuyama from Miyagi Prefecture. Returning favourites such as Umenoyado will also be back, alongside renowned Japanese brands including Choya Umeshu, Kirishima Shuzo and Hakkaisan Brewery. From award winning labels to lesser-known regional gems, attendees can expect to discover an impressive variety of flavour profiles and brewing styles from across Japan.

In addition to unlimited opportunities to explore premium sake selections, visitors can enjoy exclusive event only promotions with discounts of up to 60 per cent on selected bottles. Returning by popular demand is the Surprise Box, which offers attendees the chance to uncover specially curated sake selections and exclusive finds available only during the festival.

Shoppers will also have an opportunity to participate in a lucky draw. Guests who spend at least $200 during the event will stand a chance to win a range of prizes, including a grand prize from premium yacht experience provider MS Eternity valued at up to $3,000.

Every ticket holder will receive a deluxe goodie bag worth more than $400, packed with curated items including sake samples and vouchers from Japanese dining establishments such as Sen-ryo, Uoharu and The CHOYA Ginza Bar, adding even more value to the festival experience.

For those seeking a more exclusive experience, Sake Meguri 2026 will introduce a dedicated VIP Session on Friday, 24 July. Guests attending this session will gain access to rare and highly sought after sake labels while enjoying closer interactions with brewers and sake experts. The session is designed to offer deeper appreciation and understanding of the craftsmanship and stories behind each pour.

Registered members who spend $500 or more in a single transaction will receive one complimentary VIP Session ticket, while members who spend at least $250 can purchase up to two VIP Session tickets at a promotional rate of $49.90 each. VIP ticket holders will also receive a $10 Grab voucher.

The Exclusive VIP Session will take place on Friday, 24 July 2026 from 5pm to 9pm. General Admission sessions will be held on Saturday, 25 July 2026 from 10am to 2pm and from 3pm to 7pm.
