Minions & Monsters Take Over Sushi Express in New Limited-Time Movie-Themed Menu Ahead of July Cinema Release

Sushi Express is rolling out a playful new dining collaboration this June, teaming up with Illumination’s upcoming animated film Minions & Monsters to introduce a limited-time menu and collectibles across all Sushi Express and Sushi Plus outlets in Singapore.

The campaign runs from 11 June to 31 July 2026 and comes as part of the brand’s continued effort to create family-friendly dining experiences that go beyond sushi, especially as it approaches its 30th global anniversary. The partnership also marks Sushi Express’ third collaboration with a major animated franchise, reinforcing its shift towards more experience-driven dining.

Timed ahead of the film’s theatrical release on 1 July, the takeover features character-inspired sushi creations and themed merchandise designed to appeal to fans of all ages. Sushi Express App members will also have the chance to win tickets to a special preview screening hosted by Sushi Express Singapore.

The limited-time menu includes several themed dishes inspired by characters from the film. Highlights include the Chicken Hamburg Steak Sushi priced at S$3.50++, featuring a cheese design of new character James paired with a hamburger steak base. The Octopus Sushi with Thai Chilli Sauce at S$2.00++ draws inspiration from monster character Howard and offers a spicy seafood option. Another feature item is the Wagyu Beef Sushi with Citrus Salsa at S$3.50++, combining premium beef with a refreshing citrus twist.

For dessert, diners can enjoy the Minion Banana Swiss Roll at S$3.50++, a playful yellow-themed treat topped with signature Minion goggles. For takeaway customers, 争鲜gogo kiosks will offer special items including Goomi Ika and the Bello Tako-Tama Bento priced at S$6.50.

Alongside the food offerings, Sushi Express is launching a range of limited-edition collectibles available through a purchase-with-purchase programme. Customers who spend a minimum of S$30 at Sushi Express or Sushi Plus outlets, or S$12 at 争鲜gogo kiosks, can purchase exclusive items such as Acrylic Keychains, Drink Tumblers, Phone Straps and themed Hand Towels. Prices vary depending on membership status.

The collectibles rollout begins on 11 June with items such as Acrylic Keychains and Drink Tumblers, followed by additional merchandise from 25 June including Phone Straps and Hand Towels featuring Minions & Monsters designs.

To enhance the dine-in experience, four selected outlets will also be transformed with themed decorations. These include Sushi Express at Northpoint City and Waterway Point, as well as Sushi Plus at 313 Somerset and Bugis Junction.
