SimplyGo Launches Adventure Quest Game with Rewards, Cashback and June Holiday Fun Across Singapore

Commuting on public transport in Singapore is set to become more interactive and rewarding with the launch of the “SimplyGo Adventure Quest”, a new in-app digital board game created by SimplyGo in collaboration with Mr. Merlion & Friends.

Running from 1 to 26 June 2026, the campaign invites SimplyGo EZ-Link and SimplyGo Concession card users to turn their daily journeys into a game where every tap on buses and trains, as well as SGQR retail payments, helps players move along a digital board to unlock rewards and surprises. The initiative also extends beyond the app with digital stamp hunts available at 44 SimplyGo Ticket Offices and Ticketing Service Centres across Singapore, offering families and students a fun activity during the June school holidays.

Pre-registration for the SimplyGo Adventure Quest begins on 18 May 2026. Players who sign up during the Early Bird Special period from 18 to 24 May 2026 can either receive a limited-edition keychain or earn two bonus in-game steps. The first 5,000 commuters to register will receive an exclusive acrylic keychain inspired by Singapore’s iconic buses and trains, while the remaining participants will receive bonus steps for the game.

Participants can also earn rewards by referring friends to join the quest. Both the referrer and the referred friend will receive $2 cashback for every successful referral, while stocks last. Once the cashback rewards are fully redeemed, players will instead receive two bonus in-game steps.

When the game officially launches on 1 June, players can collect steps through everyday commuting activities such as converting their EZ-Link or Concession cards to SimplyGo, travelling on buses and trains, making SGQR payments using their SimplyGo cards, topping up cards through the SimplyGo app, and answering public transport trivia questions.

The experience also encourages commuters to explore Singapore’s transport network in person. By visiting participating SimplyGo Ticket Offices and Ticketing Service Centres, players can scan QR codes on-site to collect digital stamps and earn additional steps. Each location awards one step, capped at a maximum of 10 steps, and players must be physically present at the locations to unlock them.

Rewards will be available across three different tiers, with higher levels unlocking more attractive prizes. These include cashback credits, merchant vouchers, and exclusive public transport-themed merchandise from Mr. Merlion & Friends such as sticker packs, coasters, and fridge magnets. Players who complete all 50 steps can redeem a limited edition Mr. Merlion x SimplyGo EZ-Link Card Plushie, while a special Mr. Merlion plushie with an exclusive velcro patch, worth $39.50, will be available as a lucky draw prize.

The campaign will also feature a public pop-up event at Bugis+ from 15 June to 5 July 2026 at the mall’s Level 2 Atrium. Visitors can redeem in-game prizes, collect digital stamps, explore themed photo spots inspired by Singapore’s public transport scenes, take part in interactive activities, and shop for public transport-themed and Mr. Merlion & Friends merchandise.

The initiative is supported by Land Transport Authority and Singapore’s public transport operators including Go-Ahead Singapore, SBS Transit, SMRT Corporation, and Tower Transit Singapore as part of a wider effort to make public transport journeys more engaging and enjoyable for commuters.
