Families can look forward to a season of engaging Mandarin-language theatre and interactive arts experiences as The Theatre Practice rolls out two major programmes this mid-year: The Nursery Rhymes Project 4 and the Berries Chinese Theatre Festival: Family Edition 2026. Running from June through August, the line-up promises a lively mix of performances, storytelling, and hands-on activities designed for both children and adults.

Kicking off the season is the official launch of The Nursery Rhymes Project 4, an initiative that reimagines classic Mandarin nursery rhymes for modern audiences. Families can join the beloved Breakfast Kakis as they debut a brand-new story, Long Long Finds a Friend, followed by an energetic sing-along session led by the album’s recording artists.

This latest edition features 12 refreshed nursery rhymes, created in collaboration with Singapore musicians and students from the Practice Education Project. Audiences will also get first access to the Paint Our Songs lyric book, illustrated by renowned Singaporean artist Lee Kow Fong.

Co-presented with the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre, the launch takes place on 20 and 21 June 2026 at the SCCC Multi-Purpose Hall.
