Fitness enthusiasts and families can mark their calendars as the Skechers Friendship Walk and Run 2026 returns for its ninth edition on 7 June 2026 at Marina Barrage.
Organised by Skechers, the popular community event continues to bring together runners, walkers, and families for a day of fitness, fun, and social connection. Registration is now open and will run until 24 May, with limited slots expected to fill quickly.
This year introduces two new race pack categories featuring Skechers’ latest footwear innovations. The Individual 5KM Walk Performance Shoes Pack and Individual 10KM Run Performance Shoes Pack are each limited to just 50 participants, adding an exclusive element for early registrants.
Participants opting for these packs can enjoy the Skechers Hands Free Slip-ins: Max Cushioning Glide-Step for walking, or the SKX AERO Burst and SKX AERO Spark for the 10KM run, designed to deliver comfort and performance on race day.
Early bird rates are available for the first 500 sign-ups, offering added value for those who secure their spots early.

Beyond fitness, the event continues its commitment to giving back. For every successful registration, Skechers will donate S$2 to APSN, supporting programmes that empower individuals with mild intellectual disabilities through education, vocational training, and employment opportunities.
All participants will receive a race pack worth $80, which includes an event tee, race bib, and Skechers discount voucher. Those who opt for the exclusive performance packs will also receive a pair of Skechers footwear.
Finishers will be awarded a commemorative medal, celebrating their achievement on race day.
The excitement extends beyond the race routes, with a vibrant Race Village featuring games, live performances, and interactive activities for participants and spectators alike.
