OPPO has officially unveiled the Reno16 Series in Singapore, introducing the Reno16 5G and Reno16 F 5G with a refreshed design, enhanced AI powered photography tools and a new companion device called OPPO Bubble. Designed for users who enjoy creating and sharing content, the latest Reno lineup combines new imaging capabilities with personalized AI experiences powered by ColorOS 16.
Leading the launch is the Reno16 Series’ new 3D Pop Planet Design. The Pop White colourway debuts OPPO’s HoloVerse 3D Technology, which creates a floating, nebula inspired visual effect that changes depending on light and viewing angles. Using millions of micro lenses to reconstruct light, the finish gives the illusion of depth while maintaining a sleek premium appearance. The one piece cold sculpted back cover also flows seamlessly into the camera module for a cleaner design that helps reduce dust buildup.
The Reno16 features a compact 6.32-inch display paired with an aerospace grade aluminium frame for comfortable one-handed use, while the Reno16 F offers a larger 6.57-inch display for users who prefer a more immersive viewing experience.
Photography remains a major focus of the Reno series. Both smartphones feature a 50MP Ultra-Wide Selfie Camera with a 100-degree field of view, making it easier to capture larger group selfies and wider perspectives. At the rear, each device is equipped with a triple camera system that includes a high-resolution main camera with optical image stabilisation, a telephoto portrait camera offering approximately 3.5x optical zoom and an ultra-wide camera for more flexible compositions.
The Reno16 Series also introduces several new creative features. Pop Cam, integrated directly into the Camera app, lets users instantly apply vintage inspired effects such as Digicam, Instant Film and Light Leak styles. Within the Photos app, the new Create hub brings together AI powered editing tools including AI Remix Collage, which combines photos and short videos into layered compositions with animated stickers, text and outlines. Users can even extract moving subjects from Motion Photos or videos to create custom stickers. Popout Collage 2.0 further expands creative possibilities by allowing subjects to extend beyond the image frame for more dynamic visual effects.
Video recording also receives upgrades with 4K Auto Straighten Video helping keep footage level while moving, while Dual View Video 2.0 provides improved stabilisation and allows seamless switching between rear camera lenses during recording.
On the software side, the Reno16 Series debuts several new AI powered productivity features. The AI Snap Key provides instant access to AI Mind Space, a personalised hub that helps users capture, organise and revisit important on-screen information. AI Bill Manager automatically recognises digital payments and physical receipts, organising them into spending records and insights.
The new AI Mind Pilot coordinates multiple AI models to provide more relevant assistance by recommending suitable AI tools for different tasks or allowing users to compare responses side by side. For travellers, AI Menu Translation goes beyond text translation by providing visual explanations of foreign dishes to make dining overseas more accessible.
Performance has also been upgraded across the series. The Reno16 Series is equipped with batteries of at least 6,700mAh, while the Reno16 F features a larger 7,000mAh battery for extended use during travel, outdoor activities or long content creation sessions. Both models support 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging for quicker top ups.
Connectivity is enhanced through AI LinkBoost 4.0, which improves network stability in crowded locations or areas with weaker signals, helping deliver smoother gaming, streaming and video calls. The devices are also built for durability with IP68, IP69 and IP69K water and dust resistance ratings, while Splash Touch and Glove Touch keep the displays responsive even when wet or when users are wearing gloves.
Alongside the smartphones, OPPO also introduced OPPO Bubble, a lightweight 35-gram magnetic accessory designed to expand creative photography. Featuring a vibrant AMOLED display, the device functions as a real time rear camera monitor, allowing users to preview selfies and group shots while using the higher quality rear cameras. It also works as a remote viewfinder and shutter control from up to 10 metres away. Beyond photography, users can customise the display with images, animations, text and colours through a dedicated app, turning OPPO Bubble into a personalised everyday accessory.
The OPPO Reno16 5G will be available in Pop White and Twilight Violet with 12GB RAM and 256GB of storage, priced at S$899. The OPPO Reno16 F 5G will also be available in Pop White and Twilight Violet with 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage, priced at S$669.
The Reno16 Series will be available through M1, Singtel, StarHub, OPPO Brand Stores, the OPPO Official Online Store, OPPO flagship stores on iShopChangi, KrisShop, Lazada, Shopee, TikTok Shop, major consumer electronics retailers and authorised dealers across Singapore.
From 17 July to 31 August 2026, customers who purchase a Reno16 Series device can enjoy a range of launch promotions. These include a complimentary OPPO Magnetic Case, while purchases made through OPPO Brand Stores and the OPPO Official Online Store can opt for an OPPO Reno16 Series × BABYMONSTER Limited Edition Gift Set, subject to availability. Existing OPPO users can also redeem a S$30 O Fans Exclusive Voucher through the My OPPO app, while buyers will receive premium benefits including two years of screen protection, a two–year multi region warranty and a three-month Google AI Pro trial with 5TB of cloud storage. Customers can also purchase the OPPO Bubble Mag E Badge at a promotional price of S$103.20, down from its usual retail price of S$129.
