Marriott International, together with the Marriott Business Council Singapore, has announced the inaugural Marriott International Singapore Charity Padel Open 2026, a three-day sporting fundraiser set to ignite Sentosa from 28 to 30 May 2026. Hosted at Ricochet Padel, the event aims to unite sports enthusiasts, partners, and the wider community for a meaningful cause.
Designed to be inclusive and amateur-friendly, the tournament invites casual and seasoned players alike. Participants can register under two divisions tailored to their level of experience, the Open Division for beginners and social players, and the Champion Division for more competitive players, particularly those rated Playtomic level 5.0 and above. Teams may register as female, male, or mixed pairs, ensuring a welcoming space for padel lovers of all backgrounds.
A total of 32 teams (64 players) will compete across two days of group-stage matches before the exciting finals on 30 May. All registered players will also receive an exclusive welcome kit and goodie bag as part of their Game On Pass.
Beyond the courts, the festivities continue with a rooftop awards ceremony, charity auction, and a lively barbecue party with DJ entertainment at Ricochet Padel Sentosa. Prizes worth over SGD 20,000 will be up for grabs. All proceeds from the tournament will go to Community Chest Singapore, supporting more than 200 social service programmes for vulnerable groups including children with special needs, youth-at-risk, seniors, families in need, and persons with disabilities or mental health conditions.
Ricochet Padel, one of Singapore’s key players in the rapidly growing padel scene, will serve as the tournament host, bringing its vibrant, community-driven spirit to the event.
Marriott International, which operates 22 properties in Singapore, continues to champion social impact under its Serve 360 and Serve Our World initiatives. Through the Marriott Business Council Singapore, the company collaborates with local organisations to uplift communities and drive positive, lasting change.
The Charity Padel Open also presents a strong engagement platform for brands seeking alignment with an active and socially conscious audience, as padel gains worldwide popularity for being fun, accessible, and highly social.
