Global technology company Dyson has introduced its first-ever self-emptying cordless vacuum system, the Dyson V10 Optic paired with the Auto-empty Dok, marking a significant step toward more hygienic and hands-free home cleaning.

Designed to simplify everyday cleaning without compromising performance, the new system combines powerful suction, advanced filtration, and automated dust disposal. At the heart of the innovation is the Auto-empty Dok, which automatically empties the vacuum’s bin after each use, charges the device, and neatly stores accessories, all in one streamlined station.
Smarter Cleaning with the Dyson V10 Optic
The upgraded Dyson V10 Optic brings practical enhancements to everyday home care. It features Dyson’s Fluffy Optic cleaner head, which uses a green laser-like illumination to reveal fine dust particles that are often invisible on hard floors, ensuring a more thorough clean with every pass.
The vacuum is also equipped with a fully sealed, five-stage HEPA filtration system capable of capturing 99.99% of microscopic particles as small as 0.1 microns, including allergens, bacteria, and viruses. This ensures that only cleaner air is released back into the home while maintaining strong, consistent suction performance.

Auto-empty Dok: A Hygienic, Hands-Free Solution
Complementing the vacuum is the Auto-empty Dok, a docking system that takes convenience a step further. It transfers collected dust and debris into a sealed bin liner that can hold up to 60 days’ worth of dirt, reducing the need for frequent disposal.
The dock also features its own sealed HEPA filtration to trap fine particles during the emptying process, helping maintain indoor air quality. Integrated charging ensures the vacuum is always ready to use, while onboard storage keeps essential tools organized and within reach.

Designed for Flexibility and Longevity
In line with Dyson’s focus on durability and long-term usability, the Auto-empty Dok is backward compatible with existing Dyson V8 Cyclone models. This allows current users to upgrade their setup without replacing their entire vacuum system.
Additionally, accessories across the Dyson V8, V8 Cyclone, and the new V10 Optic are interchangeable, giving users the flexibility to continue using their existing tools or expand their collection with new attachments tailored to different cleaning needs.
Availability
The Dyson V10 Optic will be available from 14 April 2026 at a retail price of SGD 699. The Auto-empty Dok is expected to launch at the end of May, with pricing details to be announced. Consumers can explore and purchase the new system at Dyson stores and official channels.
