Anime Garden 2026 Returns to Gardens by the Bay for a Weekend of Music, Cosplay and Pop Culture

Fans of Japanese pop culture can look forward to an exciting weekend as Gardens by the Bay brings back Anime Garden 2026 on 21 and 22 March 2026. Set against the stunning backdrops of Supertree Grove and the Flower Dome, the free festival promises two days of live music, cosplay, and immersive fan experiences.

Day Stage Showcases Regional and Local Talent

Kicking off each afternoon, the Day Stage at Supertree Grove will feature a vibrant mix of Japanese acts and Singapore-based performers. Festivalgoers can catch live sets from groups and artists such as SAKURA DOLL, SEIREI SHIMEI JOSHI, VII SEPTEM, Shun Nakanishi, and Sugar Note. The performances build momentum throughout the day, leading into the festival’s highly anticipated evening concerts.

Anisong Concert Nights Under the Stars

As the sun sets, Supertree Grove transforms into an open-air concert venue for two nights of anisong performances by renowned Japanese artists. Headliners include Eir Aoi, KIHOW of MYTH & ROID, yanaginagi, and ZAQ, bringing iconic anime theme songs to life in a unique outdoor setting.

Meet Cosplay Stars and Join the Community

Anime Garden 2026 will also spotlight popular regional cosplayers Munoko沐子 and Thames Malerose. Fans can participate in meet-and-greet sessions, shop exclusive merchandise, and watch them judge the Cosplay Singles Competition.

The festival’s Creators Hub and Cosplay Hub further celebrate fan creativity, offering spaces for local artists, crafters, and cosplay enthusiasts to showcase their work and connect with the community.

Matsuri Games, Fan Gatherings, and Food

Beyond the stage, visitors can enjoy traditional Japanese festival games like shateki (target shooting) and wanage (ring toss). There will also be a dedicated fan gathering for Umamusume: Pretty Derby, adding another layer of community engagement.

A lineup of food trucks will be available throughout the event, serving a variety of street food and refreshments to keep festivalgoers energized.

Anime Garden 2026 takes place on 21 and 22 March 2026 from 2:45 PM to 9:00 PM at Supertree Grove and Flower Dome, Gardens by the Bay. Admission is free for the main festival grounds, though standard entry fees apply for the Flower Dome.
