Travellers will soon enjoy easier access to one of Vietnam’s most popular beach destinations as Vietjet Air announces a new direct flight route between Singapore and Nha Trang, set to begin operations on 1 June 2026.
The new service strengthens air connectivity between the two countries and marks the airline’s fifth direct route linking Singapore and Vietnam, joining its existing flights to Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Da Nang, and Phu Quoc.
Located along Vietnam’s south-central coast, Nha Trang is widely known for its long sandy beaches, clear turquoise waters, and thriving resort scene. The destination has become a favourite among travellers seeking island-hopping adventures, beachfront relaxation, and vibrant seafood dining.
With the new route, passengers from Singapore will be able to reach the coastal city in approximately two hours and fifteen minutes, making it an ideal short-haul getaway.
The new route will operate four times weekly on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
Flight schedule (local time):
To celebrate the launch of the new route, Vietjet is offering promotional fares across its Singapore–Vietnam network, including the new Nha Trang flights.
Eco-class tickets start from SGD86 one-way (all-inclusive) and include 20kg of complimentary checked baggage, while SkyBoss fares are available with an instant 20% discount.
The promotion runs from 16 March to 20 March 2026 (GMT+8) through the Vietjet website and mobile app, for travel between 1 April 2026 and 31 March 2027.
Vietnam has consistently ranked among the top regional destinations for Singapore travellers, thanks to its diverse landscapes, rich culinary heritage, and short travel times.
Nha Trang in particular is famous for its scenic bays, offshore islands, and vibrant marine ecosystem, attracting visitors for snorkelling, diving, and island excursions. The city’s lively beachfront promenade and seafood culture also make it a popular resort destination.
Beyond the beaches, the area also serves as a gateway to nearby waterfalls, fishing villages, and historical sites reflecting the region’s Cham heritage.
In addition to the Singapore–Nha Trang route, Vietjet also plans to expand its Southeast Asian network with a new connection between Da Nang and Jakarta. The route will launch on 29 April 2026 and operate five times weekly, strengthening tourism and business links between Vietnam and Indonesia.
Passengers flying with Vietjet can also look forward to in-flight Vietnamese favourites such as pho, banh mi, and Vietnamese iced coffee. Travellers can also earn rewards through the airline’s SkyJoy loyalty programme, which allows points redemption across more than 250 partner brands.
