Dongfeng x Carro Opens New Showroom at Sin Ming

Lion dances, a God of Fortune mascot, confetti in the air… it was a proper celebration at the grand opening of the Dongfeng x Carro showroom at Sin Ming on 11 March 2026.

Carro has officially become an authorised dealer for Dongfeng Motor Corporation, partnering with Volt Auto, the exclusive distributor of Dongfeng vehicles in Singapore.

Founded in 2015, Carro is Asia Pacific’s largest online used car marketplace and one of Singapore’s fastest-growing companies. The tech unicorn has raised over S$700 million from SoftBank Vision Fund and sovereign funds, and operates across Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Japan, Taiwan and Hong Kong. Beyond buying and selling used cars, Carro has expanded into brand-new car retail, financing through Genie Financial Services, insurance, and after-sales servicing, making it a full-suite automotive ecosystem.

Volt Auto is the exclusive authorised distributor of Dongfeng passenger vehicles in Singapore. The company brought Dongfeng to Singapore’s shores and has built a strong track record here in a short time. In 2025, Volt Auto was recognised with the Marketing Innovation Award at the Dongfeng Passenger Vehicle Global Partnership Summit alongside partners from over 100 countries.

At the launch, Aaron from Carro and Soh Ming, Founder and Managing Director of Volt Auto, both took the stage to mark the milestone. The partnership brings together Carro’s ecosystem of financing, insurance, and trade-in solutions with Volt Auto’s proven track record with Dongfeng vehicles here in Singapore.

And that track record is no joke. The Dongfeng BOX was Singapore’s best-selling electric hatchback and took SGCARMART Electric Hatchback of the Year 2025. The Dongfeng 007 won SGCARMART Electric Sedan of the Year 2025. The new showroom carries the full current lineup: the Dongfeng VIGO, BOX, and 007.

All cars purchased come with an Authorised Dealer warranty, plus Carro’s financing and insurance options. More Dongfeng showrooms are planned for 2026, including a full 3S facility covering sales, servicing, and spare parts.
