[Sneak Peek] Chick fil A Opens First Asia Outlet at Bugis+ with Singapore Exclusive Spicy Chili Sauce and Spicy Burgers

Chick fil A is officially arriving in Singapore, with its first Asia franchise opening at Bugis+ on 11 December 2025. We attended the media preview today to get an early look at the space and menu as the restaurant and its crew buckle up for a strong debut.

The outlet sits on the ground floor of Bugis+, taking over the former Pull and Bear unit at the entrance, and features a bright and cheery interior. There is a mural filled with local elements, a Singapore map outline across the ceiling, a large communal table and a few booth seats.

Staff were welcoming and professional throughout the visit, all smiles as we walked in.

The brand is launching in Singapore as part of a 10 year, US million investment in the region. To mark this milestone, Chick fil A announced a S,000 donation to The Food Bank Singapore. The store will also join the Chick fil A Shared Table program to redirect surplus food to beneficiaries. The company committed to donating another S,000 to The Food Bank Singapore for each future Singapore outlet.

Menu-wise, Chick fil A Singapore will open with a focused menu of its classic favourites.

The sandwich line up includes the Original Chick fil A Chicken Sandwich at .80 a la carte that comes with two slices of pickles or .80 as a meal; the the Spicy Chicken Sandwich at the same price; the Chick fil A Deluxe Sandwich with lettuce, tomato and cheddar cheese at .00 a la carte or .00 as a meal; the Spicy Deluxe Sandwich at .10 a la carte or .10 as a meal; and the Grilled Chicken Sandwich at .50 a la carte or .50 as a meal.

The brand is launching in Singapore as part of a 10 year, US$75 million investment in the region. To mark this milestone, Chick fil A announced a S$25,000 donation to The Food Bank Singapore. The sandwich line up includes the Original Chick fil A Chicken Sandwich at $6.80 a la carte that comes with two slices of pickles or $11.80 as a meal; the the Spicy Chicken Sandwich at the same price; the Chick fil A Deluxe Sandwich with lettuce, tomato and cheddar cheese at $8.00 a la carte or $13.00 as a meal; the Spicy Deluxe Sandwich at $8.10 a la carte or $13.10 as a meal; and the Grilled Chicken Sandwich at $9.50 a la carte or $14.50 as a meal.

The Spicy Deluxe Sandwich is a Singapore Chick fil A exclusive. Meals include a regular drink and regular waffle fries. You can swap their fries for macaroni and cheese for an additional $1.70 or a side salad for $0.70.

During the preview, we sampled three chicken sandwiches (Original Chick fil A Chicken Sandwich, Chick fil A Deluxe Sandwich and Spicy Deluxe Sandwich), the waffle potato fries ($4.20 for regular), nuggets ($6.90 for eight pieces), two milkshakes and two drinks.

Nuggets with six dipping sauces:

Six sauces were available, including five classic favourites and one Singapore exclusive. These were the Chick-fil-A Sauce, Garden Herb Ranch, Sweet & Spicy Siracha, Barbecue, Honey Mustard and Spicy Chili. The latter is exclusive to Singapore.

After trying all three dips, our personal favourites were the original Chick-fil-A Sauce, Garden Herb Ranch and Barbecue. The fun of dining at Chick fil A is their large variety of dipping sauces, so try them all out too yourselves to find your own favourite.

The highlight for us was the nuggets, which are more like bite-size cuts of tender chicken fillet with a thin coat of well seasoned batter that pair well with the dips. Deeply satisfying.

If you prefer to load up on carbs, the waffle potato fries are great for dipping too:

The chicken sandwich impressed too with a generous portion of meat compared to the fried batter, as is the case for most of the chicken fillet served in burgers at other fast food joints. The fillet stayed juicy, soft and never dry.

For the drinks, we tried the unsweetened ice tea, the signature Chick fil A lemonade, two of the milkshakes, Strawberry and Cookies & Cream. I am not a fan of sweet drinks, so I am glad they have a zero sugar beverage option. Asher enjoyed the two milkshakes for their smooth and creamy texture.

Chick fil A Bugis+ is locally owned and operated by Singaporean franchisee Chyn Koh, who brings over two decades of food and beverage experience, previously the franchisee of several Subway stores in Singapore.

The restaurant will open from Monday to Saturday and close on Sundays in line with their longstanding company tradition.

Judging from the preview, Chick fil A should do well in Singapore. The menu stays true to the brand’s familiar flavours and the team has taken real effort to tailor the experience for local diners. The food is consistent, the pricing is accessible and the overall experience is warm and welcoming.
