[REVIEW] From Christmas Snickers Cake to Live Grills, Your Ultimate Holiday Feast Awaits at Oscar’s at Conrad Singapore Marina Bay

If you are planning a Christmas get-together that will impress both seafood lovers and meat enthusiasts, Oscar’s at Conrad Singapore Marina Bay is a great pick. I recently checked out their festive spread, and here’s my take on what makes it stand out.

From 24 November 2025 to 6 January 2026, Oscar’s is serving its festive buffet for lunch, dinner, and Sunday brunch, featuring fresh seafood, hearty roasts, and desserts that look and taste like Christmas on a plate.

Walking in, the space feels sleek yet comfortable with marble columns, open-kitchen stations, and plenty of room to move around, perfect when everyone’s in buffet mode.

The first thing that caught my eye was the Towers of Boston Lobsters, Oysters, and King Crab seafood spread which included fresh prawns, scallops, crayfish, oysters, and even thick-cut sashimi. The selection looked especially fresh, and honestly, who can say no to seafood?

The sashimi was so good I went back for seconds!

Beyond the seafood, Oscar’s offers a range of festive live stations. There’s Crab Toast with Caviar, Tomahawk Beef, Kurobuta Ham, and Traditional Turkey with Chestnut Stuffing, and even squid ink pasta swirled in a cheese wheel!

You can ask for as many servings as you want, and the staff are friendly and happy to help, which made the experience even better.

Step outside and you will find more live stations that celebrate Singaporean flavours. The Indian food section greets you first, with naan grilled in a clay oven. Watching it cook is an experience in itself, and there are plenty of sauces to mix and match.

Next is a traditional Singaporean section, serving favourites like laksa and fish soup noodles, all comforting and nostalgic.

Finally, there is a live grilling station where the chefs cook everything over open flames right in front of you. Watching the fire flare up as the meats sizzle is honestly quite shiok, super satisfying to see. The meats come out tender, juicy, and perfectly chargrilled too.

Of course, no buffet is complete without desserts, and Oscar’s really did not hold back. The whole sweet corner felt a bit like stepping into a Hansel-and-Gretel moment.

There were all sorts of Christmas treats, from a Snickers cake shaped like Santa on his sleigh to a glossy chocolate fondue perfect for dipping all the marshmallows you can pile on and even a wide range of interesting ice cream flavours like Panna Cotta.

Do not miss the traditional Christmas pudding.

It is rich, warm, and super fragrant, and gets even better once you pour on the creamy white sauce they offer it with. The combo is so comforting and festive, it really feels like Christmas in a bite.

There is also a super comforting banana pudding, and my must-try favourite, the warm apple crumble that comes with the perfect mix of buttery crust and soft, cinnamon-coated apples.

And if you are a chocoholic, the Chocolate Yule Log is one of those desserts you definitely should save space for. With its rich chocolatey taste, it is the kind of treat that makes you feel like you ended the buffet on the perfect note!

As part of the festive experience, we got to try Oscar’s Christmas highlights, a special four-course tasting. It started with the Hand-Cut Prime Beef Tartare, fresh and flavourful, followed by the Lobster Thermidor.

The lobster was big, perfectly cooked, and the creamy sauce was absolutely delicious.

Next came the Torte Deluxe, a creative dish blending Angus beef tenderloin in a tart with mushrooms and truffle jus. The flavours worked beautifully together and made for a rich, satisfying bite.

To finish, we watched the chefs prepare a live Crepe Suzette Flambé. The crepe was cooked in orange butter sauce, topped with vanilla ice cream, and finished with a dash of Glenfiddich liquor. The flames were impressive, and the dessert tasted just as good as it looked, though it was a tad sweet.

Overall, Oscar’s festive buffet is a joyful celebration of flavours, presenting a wide variety of both local and international fares like sashimi, squid ink pasta, decadent desserts and more. Perfect for enjoying a celebratory feast with family and friends.
