Banyan Group’s Inaugural Rainforest Festival Expands with Exclusive Experiences at Mandai Wildlife Reserve and Rainforest Resort

Singapore’s newest celebration of nature, sustainability, and well-being takes root this November with the inaugural Rainforest Festival, running from 27 November to 3 December 2025. Hosted by Banyan Group at the newly opened Mandai Rainforest Resort by Banyan Tree, the week-long festival promises immersive experiences, curated adventures, and meaningful ways to give back.

Curated Paid Experiences and Wildlife Encounters

Festival-goers can elevate their visit with a series of exclusive paid experiences across the Mandai Wildlife Reserve, Singapore’s iconic nature and wildlife destination. Highlights include guided behind-the-scenes tours where guests meet wildlife experts and get up close with the parks’ celebrated residents. Complementing these wildlife encounters are bespoke ecological and dining experiences at Mandai Rainforest Resort, offering a deeper connection to sustainable living and biodiversity.

Guests who book these paid experiences will receive a complimentary same-day Rainforest Festival ticket, while all festival attendees can enjoy 30% off admission to select Mandai Wildlife attractions, including:

  • Rainforest Wild Asia – Asia’s first adventure-based zoological park
  • Bird Paradise – Asia’s largest bird park, home to over 3,000 birds
  • Curiosity Cove – a 4,600sqm indoor nature-inspired playscape, opening 21 November

Additionally, festival-goers receive up to 10% off at select dining and retail outlets operated by Mandai Wildlife Group across the destination (excluding tenant-operated outlets). Limited availability means early booking is recommended.

A Celebration with Purpose

The Rainforest Festival coincides with the Grand Opening of Mandai Rainforest Resort by Banyan Tree, marking the group’s 100th resort globally and its symbolic return to Singapore. True to its spirit of giving back, the festival supports the President’s Challenge, benefiting 60 programmes across 52 charities and social service organisations.

  • All festival ticket proceeds will be donated to the President’s Challenge and matched dollar-for-dollar by Banyan Group.
  • Additional contributions include 20% of paid experience proceeds donated by Mandai Wildlife Group and the resort, plus a dollar-for-dollar match from the Government under the SG60 Matching Grants.
