Singapore is set to welcome a brand-new entertainment phenomenon with the launch of Superstreamer Asia: the nation’s first-ever reality TV competition dedicated to live-streamers. Casting is now open for contestants aged 18 to 80, with the winner walking away with a $20,000 cash prize and the opportunity to secure an artiste management contract.
Produced by FLY Entertainment in collaboration with Synagie, Hoods Inc, IAmCasting, and Shopee, Superstreamer Asia merges live-streaming, e-commerce, and cutting-edge virtual production into a competition unlike any other. Contestants will battle it out through live challenges designed to test their ability to entertain, sell, and connect with audiences in real-time.
With Southeast Asia’s video commerce market valued at USD 31.8 billion in 2024 – around 20% of total e-commerce GMV according to the Google-Temasek-Bain e-Conomy SEA report, the show aims to capture this momentum, positioning live-streamers as the next generation of digital stars.
As the official platform partner, Shopee will host the live-selling segments, allowing contestants to engage audiences seamlessly while highlighting the commercial potential of live-streaming. This collaboration underscores a shared mission to nurture fresh talent and advance the region’s booming e-commerce landscape.
At the heart of Superstreamer Asia is Irene Ang, CEO of FLY Entertainment and a trailblazer in Singapore’s entertainment scene. As the show’s creator and resident judge, Irene will bring her unique blend of experience and charisma to the competition:
The hunt is on for the region’s brightest live-streaming talent. Whether you’re a seasoned content creator or just someone who knows how to light up the screen, this is your chance to shine.
