SCCC & SCO Bring Back Mid-Autumn Family FUN 2025 with Biggest Line-Up Yet

The Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre (SCCC) and Singapore Chinese Orchestra (SCO) are once again teaming up to light up the CBD with Mid-Autumn Family FUN 2025 (MAFF 2025) returning on 4 and 5 October with its largest line-up since the festival’s debut.

This year, visitors can look forward to 27 diverse programmes across SCCC and the Singapore Conference Hall (SCH), blending culture, art, music, and family-friendly activities.

Rooftop Rabbits & Moonlit Music

One of the biggest highlights is Moongazing with Monday Bruce, an eye-catching rooftop installation featuring five giant illuminated inflatables of Monday Bruce, the beloved rabbit from a popular collectible blind box series. The whimsical display will light up SCCC’s Roof Garden from 11 September to 30 November, 10am to 10pm daily.

Also making its debut is Ancient Moon, Present Light, a special SCO concert where children under six are invited for the first time to enjoy an evening of festive melodies under the baton of Associate Conductor Moses Gay.

Hands-On Fun & Cultural Experiences

Families can dive into interactive workshops ranging from soap-making and tea-whisking to creating scented pouches inspired by traditional Chinese medicine. Over at Rabbit’s Brew House, visitors can sample mooncakes and teas while enjoying crosstalk performances, hanfu dance showcases, and DIY craft activities like lantern-making and knot-tying.

The Play It Chill programme will keep things lively at SCCC’s Level 1 Concourse with free performances and activities from drumming acts by Drum Feng to poetry recitals, lantern riddles, and storytelling.

Games, Prizes & Community Spirit

Festival-goers can also join a bingo-style adventure to explore SCCC and SCH. Completing activities earns stamps that can be redeemed for exclusive prizes, including silkscreen-printed tote bags created with STPI and sweet treats from Munchi Pancakes.

MAFF 2025 is open to all, with both free and ticketed programmes available. Full details, ticketing, and registration are available here. Eligible Singapore Citizens can also use their SG Culture Pass credits to offset ticket costs.
