The stars aligned at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs), where Lady Gaga emerged as the night’s biggest winner with four trophies, including Artist of the Year and Best Collaboration with Bruno Mars for “Die With A Smile.”
Ariana Grande also made waves, taking home Video of the Year and Best Pop for her empowering anthem “brighter days ahead,” plus Best Long Form Video. Meanwhile, Sabrina Carpenter claimed three wins, including Best Pop Artist and Best Album for Short n’ Sweet.
Other major highlights included ROSÉ and Bruno Mars winning Song of the Year for their hit “APT.”, Alex Warren being crowned Best New Artist, and BLACKPINK securing Best Group. The night also honored icons, with Mariah Carey receiving the prestigious Video Vanguard Award, Busta Rhymes taking home the VMA Rock The Bells Visionary Award, and Ricky Martin celebrated with the Latin Icon Award.
