SG60: Icons of Home – A Collectible Pin Series Celebrating What We Love About Singapore

As Singapore marks its 60th year of independence, a charming new collectible series is set to ignite national pride. Titled SG60: Icons of Home, this specially curated pin collection pays tribute to the everyday icons, cherished memories, and cultural threads that define life in the Lion City.

A Monthly Celebration of Singapore’s Identity

From July to December 2025, a limited-edition pin will be released each month at selected SG60 events. Designed by local artists in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (MCCY), each pin captures a unique aspect of Singapore’s heritage — from beloved foods and shared experiences to sports and community spirit.

The creative talents behind the collection include Dale Lam (@iamewnjie), Hafi Jainal (@hahahafi), and Natasha Hassan (@_natashahassan), whose designs aim to stir nostalgia and celebrate the diverse communities that shape Singapore’s story.

Collect All 6 to Complete the Shape of Singapore

These aren’t just keepsakes — when all six pins are collected, they fit together to form the shape of Singapore. Every piece in the series represents the symbols, sentiments, and stories that unite us, making them a truly meaningful tribute to SG60.

First Pin Launch: The Recipe of Harmony

The first collectible, The Recipe of Harmony, will be available starting 12 July 2025 at two SG60 events:

  • It’s Giving Fest at *SCAPE
  • Youth Corps Open House 2025 at The Red Box and Youth Park

Designed by Dale Lam, this pin showcases vibrant illustrations of traditional treats such as ang ku kueh, kueh bahulu, kueh salat, murukku, ondeh ondeh, and png kueh — symbolising Singapore’s rich multicultural harmony.
