Skechers Sundown Festival 2025 Sets the Stage for Asia’s First Carbon-Negative Music Event

This July, Skechers Sundown Festival 2025 (SSF25) returns with a powerful new mission—to be more than just a music and arts celebration. Held from 4 to 6 July 2025 at the iconic Haw Par Villa, SSF25 will go down in history as Asia’s first green Asian music festival, setting new standards for sustainability, inclusivity, and creativity.

With a bold pledge to operate as a carbon-negative event, SSF25 is eliminating single-use plastics across its grounds and applying for Eco-Event Certification from the Singapore Environment Council. Beyond being a party with purpose, the festival is also championing climate action within the music industry.

Music Climate Action Summit – A Regional First

On 4 July from 3pm to 7:30pm, SSF25 hosts Southeast Asia’s first Music Climate Action Summit, gathering global industry leaders to confront environmental challenges and champion change. Headlining this call to action is the launch of the #PlasticFreeParty pledge in Singapore, in partnership with the Bye Bye Plastic Foundation, founded by eco-conscious DJ BLOND:ISH.
