On 20 June 2025, West Mall officially re-opened its doors at a launch event graced by Senior Minister of State for Transport, Mr. Murali Pillai. The transformation includes new features that make it even more family-friendly and convenient for Bukit Batok and new Tengah residents.

A Fresh Look with a Functional Twist

Part of the mall’s recent Asset Enhancement Initiative (AEI) included a modern new façade and a refreshed identity. The new logo combines a stylised “W” and “M” in bold, vibrant hues representing youthfulness, energy and a forward-looking spirit.

But aesthetics aside, the AEI also brought practical updates: what used to be a car park has been transformed into an inviting Basement 1 wing filled with new food and retail options.

Right outside Bukit Batok MRT station, you’ll find the estate’s very first Privately-Owned Public Space (POPS), a sheltered community plaza perfect for weekend hangouts and weekday breather moments.
