JUMBO Seafood: Father’s Day Feasts and June À La Carte Specials (1–30 June)

Father’s Day is around the corner — and if your dad’s a seafood fan (or you just need a good excuse to indulge), Jumbo Seafood is a solid choice. Established in 1987, this homegrown brand has grown from one modest outlet into a household name with restaurants across Singapore and abroad.  

We were recently invited to sample Jumbo Seafood’s Father’s Day offerings at their ION Orchard outlet. The ambience was cosy yet upscale, and despite it being a weekday evening, the restaurant was nearly full — always a good sign in food-savvy Singapore.  

Father’s Day Set Menus (6–15 June 2025)

There are eight set menus to choose from, ranging from S$338 for a group of 4 to S$1,228 for a group of ten. Highlights include:  

Award-Winning Chilli Crab with Mini Mantou 珍宝获奖辣椒蟹配馒头 (Available in all menus)

The perennial favourite — rich, sweet, tangy and finger-licking good. Comes with a small basket of mini mantous that are golden-crisp outside and fluffy inside, perfect for soaking up every last drop of the gravy.  Our only wish? More mantous please!

Crispy Fried Baby Squid 脆炸苏东仔, Braised 5-Head Abalone & Shiitake with Broccoli, and Boston Lobster Braised with Glass Vermicelli & Sha Cha Sauce feature in select menus, offering something for every kind of seafood-loving dad.  

For many Asian families, no rice, no meal. This Supreme Seafood Fried Rice is a guaranteed Dad-pleaser — every bite’s packed with flavour, and they don’t skimp on the seafood.

June À La Carte Specials (1–30 June)

Beyond the sets, a la carte items are great for families who want more flexibility in ordering or some extra treats.

Deep-Fried Sea Bass with Mango Dressing (Thai Style) – S$6.80/100g  

Mango Sticky Rice – a new dessert offering at S$9.80  

Another dessert option is Orh Nee Ice Cream – S$6.80, or just S$4.80 for Jumbo Rewards/Citi members.

If I were you, I’d go for the set menu to ease decision fatigue, throw in that mango sticky rice for fun, and let Dad enjoy a relaxed yet memorable evening out.    

Final Word If you’re aiming for a no fuss, seriously good seafood feast for Father’s Day, Jumbo Seafood delivers. Expect generous flavours, a lively atmosphere, and the kind of spread that pairs perfectly with family chatter and dad jokes. Book ahead, put on the bibs provided, and let the seafood magic happen.
