Children’s Season 2025 Returns with a Month of Play, Belonging, and Creativity

This June, let your children’s imaginations soar as Children’s Season 2025 returns from 31 May to 29 June, bringing a vibrant lineup of interactive experiences, performances, and workshops across Singapore. Organised by Children’s Museum Singapore (CMSG) and supported by the National Heritage Board (NHB) and the Museum Roundtable (MR), this year’s theme — “Belonging Through Play” — invites children to discover who they are and how they connect with their families, communities, and country.

In celebration of SG60, Children’s Season 2025 also marks a special milestone with YHS Singapore (Yeo’s) coming on board as the festival’s first corporate sponsor and Official Partner.

Created by Children, for Children

At the heart of this year’s festival is the Children’s Panel, first introduced in 2024 as part of CMSG’s mission to amplify children’s voices. This year, 18 students from Lianhua Primary School collaborated with CMSG and creative partner Playeum over five sessions to co-create the festival’s Signature Programmes. Their ideas and feedback helped shape the experiences offered at four museums:

  • Indian Heritage Centre
  • KidsSTOP
  • MOE Heritage Centre
  • Singapore Maritime Gallery

Highlights to Explore

Signature Programmes will offer immersive, hands-on activities tailored to each museum’s unique identity, while Partnership Programmes — free, drop-in events hosted at CMSG — will be led by The Gem Museum, KidsSTOP™, and Singapore Maritime Gallery, encouraging family bonding through cultural play.

Families can also enjoy the return of the Stamp Booklet Activity, collecting stamps from 22 participating Museum Roundtable venues and redeeming prizes — including Yeo’s drinks and exclusive rewards — along the way.

Celebrate Play, Family, and Community

This year’s Children’s Season aligns with two larger initiatives happening during the June school holidays: the National Family Festival by Families for Life and the International Day of Play (IDOP) by UNICEF. CMSG will present four additional programmes, including lively street activities along Armenian Street and interactive IDOP experiences, all centered on the spirit of belonging through play.

Plan Your Visit

Children’s Season 2025 offers a month-long adventure for families to connect, create, and explore together.
