Audition for a Chance to Share the Stage with Kumar in S.O.S Kumar

Think you’ve got what it takes to shine in Singapore’s comedy and drag scenes? Here’s your shot! S.O.S Kumar is on the hunt for fresh talent to join its star-studded production alongside Singapore’s Queen of Comedy, Kumar. Whether you’re a stand-up comedian, a drag performer, or a dynamic mix of both, this is your moment to take the stage!

Auditions are set for 17 and 23 April 2025, from 8pm to 10:30pm SGT at Rabbit’s Hole, Singapore.

Registration is now open here and closes on 13 April 2025, 11:59pm SGT.

From the creators of Kumar’s past sell-out shows—including Kumar Unmasked (2021), Kumar Locks Down (2022), Kumar Guilty (2023), and Kumar Uncut (2024)—this highly anticipated production will debut at Sands Theatre, Marina Bay Sands, on 17 July 2025. More than just a talent search, this audition is a career-defining opportunity to break into Singapore’s entertainment scene.

What’s at Stake?

Finalists will battle it out in the Grand Finale on 16 May 2025 (9pm – 11pm SGT), where one performer will win:

  • $1,000 Cash Prize – A boost for your entertainment career.
  • Exclusive Mentorship by Kumar – Learn from the legend himself.
  • Two-Year Engagement with Ra Ra Productions – A launchpad for future gigs.
  • A Live Performance in S.O.S Kumar at Marina Bay Sands – Share the stage with Kumar at one of Singapore’s most prestigious venues.

Who Can Audition?

  • Comedians – Bring a three-minute stand-up set that showcases originality, timing, and audience connection.
  • Drag Performers – Show off your charisma, creativity, and stage presence with an electrifying routine.
  • Comedy-Drag Hybrids – If you’ve got both talents, bring your A-game and steal the show.

Auditioning live in front of Kumar and an audience at Rabbit’s Hole, expect a warm but competitive atmosphere where constructive feedback will help you grow. If you’re 18 and above and ready for the spotlight, don’t miss this chance to make your mark in Singapore’s entertainment scene.
