Tickets on Sale Today for Asia Premiere of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Sunset Boulevard

Get ready for an unforgettable theatrical experience! Tickets for the highly anticipated Asia Premiere of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s acclaimed musical SUNSET BOULEVARD are now on sale. This lavish new production, featuring the legendary Sarah Brightman in her iconic role as Norma Desmond, will make its theatrical debut in Singapore.

Presented by Base Entertainment Asia and GWB Entertainment in association with Opera Australia and arranged with The Really Useful Group, this Tony Award-winning masterpiece will grace the Sands Theatre, Marina Bay Sands from 7 to 23 February 2025 for a strictly limited season.

UOB Cardmembers can also purchase tickets from Marina Bay Sands Ticketing and SISTIC beginning 12 September 2024 at 10AM SGT until 22 September 2024 at 11:59PM SGT, with a 20% discount off ticket prices for all categories, including Dress Circle Access and Privileges.

Those on the waitlist will receive a 15% discount off ticket prices from 12 September 2024 at 10AM SGT until 22 September 2024 at 11:59PM SGT.

Public ticket sales will commence on 16 September 2024 at 10AM SGT through Marina Bay Sands Ticketing, SISTIC, and Klook. UOB Cardmembers will continue to enjoy a 15% discount from 23 September 2024 at 10AM SGT.

SUNSET BOULEVARD tells a poignant story of faded Hollywood glory and unfulfilled ambition. The narrative follows Norma Desmond, a former silent film star yearning for a comeback in the era of “talkies.” Her chance meeting with struggling screenwriter Joe Gillis leads to a dramatic and tragic conclusion.

Featuring music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, and a book and lyrics by Don Black and Christopher Hampton, this new production is based on the classic film directed by Billy Wilder. Directed by Paul Warwick Griffin, with set and costume design by Morgan Large, choreography by Ashley Wallen, and musical supervision by Kristen Blodgette, this production premiered at Melbourne’s Princess Theatre on 29 May 2024.
