OPPO Singapore has announced the winners of its exclusive photography competition, conducted in collaboration with Singapore’s prestigious LASALLE School of Fashion. This initiative aims to discover and support emerging local talent in fashion and photography. Among the entries, ten students received cash and product prizes from OPPO, including the newly launched OPPO Reno12, for their exceptional efforts.
Consistent with its commitment to the local photography community, OPPO Singapore’s competition aligns with the OPPO global “imagine IF Photography Awards.” Partnering with the LASALLE School of Fashion, this competition offers students a platform to showcase their work and gain international exposure, blending art and technology through mobile photography.
Themed “Rediscover Fading Traditions,” the competition encouraged students to capture meaningful moments and preserve cultural heritage through their artistic expression. This collaboration was highly praised by LASALLE, a leading art college in Singapore and Southeast Asia, and received support from industry professionals. The judging panel included notable figures such as Joy Cheng, Director of OPPO Image Effect Cognition, Circe Henestrosa, Head of the LASALLE School of Fashion, and Shavonne Wong, a renowned local fashion photographer.
The ten winners from the OPPO x LASALLE Photography Competition 2024 will be invited to participate in the global “imagine IF Photography Awards.” Their work will be showcased at Paris Photo 2024, alongside exceptional global entries, providing them with both local and international recognition.
The OPPO x LASALLE Photography Competition 2024 promotes the global “imagine IF Photography Awards 2024,” inviting local photography enthusiasts to submit their work for this prestigious annual competition hosted by OPPO. Submissions for the global awards are open until 28 July 2024.
