Vietjet is set to launch its second daily service to China within just two months. Following the recent Ho Chi Minh City – Shanghai route, the airline introduces the Ho Chi Minh City – Chengdu direct service, aiming to strengthen transportation links and foster trade and tourism between the two vibrant nations.

Scheduled to commence operations on the first day of the Lunar New Year, the Ho Chi Minh City – Chengdu route is poised to become a pivotal connection between the bustling economic hub of Ho Chi Minh City and Chengdu, the dynamic capital of Sichuan Province in southwest China. The new service reflects Vietjet’s commitment to providing seamless travel options and promoting cultural exchange.

The inaugural flight for the Ho Chi Minh City – Chengdu route is set for February 10, 2024, with one daily return flight. Departing from Ho Chi Minh City’s Tan Son Nhat International Airport at 19:10 local time, the flight will arrive at Chengdu Tianfu International Airport (TFU) at 00:15 the next day. The return leg from Chengdu will depart at 00:50 local time, landing in Ho Chi Minh City at 03:55 local time.

To celebrate the launch, Vietjet offers amazing fares starting from just USD 0 (excluding taxes and fees) for the new route. These promotional fares are available for booking now online or the Vietjet Air mobile app, applicable for travel from February 10, 2024, to March 30, 2024.
