Join the Deepavali Celebration at FairPrice Block Parties in Kaki Bukit and Woodlands

The FairPrice Group (FPG) is all set to host its popular FairPrice Block Parties in Kaki Bukit and Woodlands this November, and it’s in honor of Deepavali! This is the second installment of FPG’s festive community block parties following the National Day edition, and it promises to be a blast. The best part? These block parties are open to everyone, so bring your family and friends along for a day of fun and merriment.

Games, Games, and More Games

Get ready for a day filled with excitement and entertainment. The FairPrice Block Parties are all about having a great time with your loved ones. You can test your skills at the trendy claw machine, challenge your friends and family to a game of carrom, and enjoy many other family-friendly activities. There’s no shortage of fun and games at these block parties!

Rangoli Art with a Twist

Prepare to be amazed by the renowned rangoli artist and Guinness World Record holder for the largest Rangoli in the World, Vijaya Mohan. Join in as he creates a unique communal rangoli with residents. It’s a fantastic opportunity to witness art come to life and be a part of something truly special.

Meet Singapore’s Beloved Kacang Puteh Uncle

Ever met Singapore’s favorite kacang puteh uncle from Peace Centre, Mr. Amirthaalangaram Moorthy? Well, here’s your chance! He’ll be at the block parties, spreading smiles and goodwill by distributing free FairPrice nuts and muruku to residents. It’s a delightful way to experience a taste of nostalgia and enjoy some scrumptious snacks.

Shop with Convenience

While you’re having a great time at the block parties, don’t forget to take care of your grocery shopping needs. The FairPrice On Wheels Truck will be on-site, stocked with a wide selection of over 200 items, including FairPrice’s best value essentials and housebrand products. So, shop to your heart’s content and tick off those items on your shopping list.

Goodie Bags for Lower-Income Families

The spirit of giving is strong at these block parties. One hundred lower-income families at each block party will receive goodie bags, complete with grocery shopping coupons. These coupons can be used at the FairPrice On Wheels truck and at nearby FairPrice stores, ensuring that everyone can enjoy the festivities and fulfill their grocery needs.

Community Fridge Restock Initiative

FPG is not just about fun and games; they’re also committed to making a positive impact. Visit the Community Fridge booth to learn about the FairPrice Group Community Fridge Restock Initiative. Discover how this initiative provides fresh groceries to families, rescues produce, and promotes sharing within the community. With ten Community Fridges in operation and more to come, residents can even volunteer in food rescue and distribution to contribute to this meaningful cause.
