In the midst of our fast-paced lives in Singapore, finding ways to rest and rejuvenate has become increasingly important, even if we are not traveling out of the country.
Recognising this need, The Ascott Limited launched Rest & Recharge @ Citadines, a wellness staycation package designed to provide guests with a comprehensive and revitalising experience.
With a range of carefully curated activities at two of its Citadines properties, this staycation package aims to elevate the concept of restfulness and offer a much-needed escape from the daily grind.
The Rest & Recharge @ Citadines wellness staycation package is available at two properties: Citadines Connect Rochester Singapore and Citadines Rochor Singapore. This 3-day, 2-night weekend retreat offers a carefully crafted selection of restful activities, exclusively available for booking by Ascott Star Rewards (ASR) members.
From 2 June to 9 July, guests can experience these packages starting from $485 nett for two guests. A pretty good deal, considering that it is inclusive of wellness activities. We were invited to review the staycation package at Citadines Rocher Singapore and will be sharing more about our experience.
Rest & Recharge – Citadines Connect Rochester Singapore
Citadines Connect Rochester Singapore presents the Rest & Recharge package, providing guests with a selection of restful experiences based on your preferred weekend schedule.
Among the offerings is Forest Bathing, a wellness trend that allows individuals to derive health benefits from nature. Guided by Singapore’s pioneer certified forest therapy guide, this unique experience has been scientifically proven to alleviate stress and enhance overall well-being.
Another activity is Flower Printing, where guests can indulge in creative rest by partnering with flowers in a mindful and sensorial way. The package also includes a guided Restorative Yoga session and a Welcome Gift Pack, valued at S$69, featuring Unknotify toolkit items such as a steam eye mask, aromatherapy roll-on, massage ball, T-stick, and access to online self-massage video tutorials. A Mindful Mixology Weekender – Citadines Rochor Singapore
Nestled in the culturally vibrant Little India, Citadines Rochor Singapore offers the perfect backdrop for the A Mindful Mixology Weekender package.
This unique experience includes a mindful mixology workshop conducted by a guest Mixologist from Bombay Sapphire. During our stay, we attended a workshop that involved the creation of one mocktail and two cocktails.
Other than learning the art of creating spirit-free and low-alcohol-based drinks, guests also get to embark on an ingredient sourcing tour at Little India’s Spice Market. The exploration of ayurvedic and modern ingredients amidst the captivating aroma of spices offers a truly memorable experience.
Additionally, the package includes a Welcome Pack comprising a Steam Eye Mask/Roller Ball, as well as a guided Restorative Yoga session to promote stress reduction, a calmer state of mind, and restful sleep.
For the hotel stay, we stayed in Studio Executive Room for two:
Citadines Rochor Singapore is part of Tekka Place, an integrated development featuring a curated mix of retail, dining, fitness and cultural options spread across four floors. As such, you can easily access the shops and restaurants in Tekka Place for convenience. On the first floor of the mall, you can find both Starbucks and Ya Kun Toast located side by side for your coffee, tea of breakfast fix:
Other than exploring the culture-rich Little India district, the arts, heritage and design precinct of Bugis and Bras Basah are all within walking distance as well. There are two MRT stations nearby – Rochor MRT Station on the Downtown Line and Little India MRT Station on the Northeast Line.
Citadines Rochor Singapore features a variety of apartment types to choose from, catering to both business and leisure travellers. These range from Studios to One-bedroom apartments. Dual-key apartments are available too, for those travelling in bigger groups.
