Vinette’s award-winning “Wine in a Can” is now available at uMart Singapore for only $12!

Homegrown convenience store uMart is the first retailer in Singapore to sell Vinette Wines – in a can. In addition to the range of bottled and craft beers found in uMart stores, these canned wines from South Africa are new products that uMart’s management hopes you will come to like.

Imported into Singapore by V-Etico Services Pte Ltd, Vinette’s signature collection of wines comes in five varieties:

• Rosé
• Chenin Blanc
• Chardonnay
• Merlot
• Sweet Sparkle Wine

Vinette has been awarded the Gold Medal by the world-renowned ‘Gilbert & Gaillard International Challenge.

In addition to being able to chill much faster than wine in a traditional glass bottle, canned wines offer vino lovers a versatile and sustainable way to enjoy their favourite beverage. According to experts, switching to aluminium cans can drastically reduce carbon emissions by up to 80 per cent. Using an aluminium can packaging also helps protect the wine from light or air exposures and extends the shelf life of the wine.

Hosts who want their guests to enjoy a variety of different wine flavours without breaking the bank will also love these novel Vinette canned wines.

Priced at $12 for every 250ml can and $22.50 for any two cans, you can purchase Vinette canned wines from uMart stores in Balestier, Kovan, its e-commerce store and major delivery platforms.

Vinette’s canned wines have set a new benchmark for their quality, with “very good” ratings by USA Wine Ratings for their Chenin Blanc – 89 points and Chardonnay – 87 points. Their outstanding Rosé scored 93 points and a Gold Award in 2021.
