Soft Milk Bread, No Added Preservatives and Halal-certified: 7-Eleven’s New Sandwich Range

Grab and go with 7-Eleven’s range of halal-certified sandwiches! 

Ingredients with no added preservatives between slices of soft milk bread, these are wholesome bites to get on the go. Knowing that they’re made with quality ingredients makes it all the more satisfying!

There are nine varieties to choose from.

Classic Sandwiches

If you prefer eggs over ham, the 7-SELECT Egg & Cheese Sandwich ($3.20) would be a great choice. I loved that the egg to mayo ratio had leaned towards the eggs. I found that the subtle mayo taste and cheese perfectly balanced the texture and taste of the eggs.

For a more substantial sandwich, I would suggest the 7-SELECT Club Sandwich ($3.60). With chicken slices, ham, cheese and eggs, this sandwich is packed to the brim with filling! 

From nitrate-free ham and all-natural Australian cheddar cheese, you know you’re getting a quality sandwich. Plus with all that filling you know it’s going to be a satisfying snack!

Seafood Sandwiches

The 7-SELECT Prawn Salad Sandwich ($3.60) was my personal favourite. The combination of mayo and broccoli is somehow so addictive! The crunch from the broccoli and the silky smooth mayo together with the prawns made for a great combination. The contrasting texture of the soft bread and bite of the broccoli and prawn was what I found the most appealing about this.

Combo Sandwiches

Can’t decide? Get the 7-SELECT Triple Combo Sandwich ($3.90). This includes all the classics like chicken ham and cheese, tuna and egg mayo. 

Ham and cheese is one of my go to sandwiches and this hits all the right spots. With layers upon layers of ham, it was packed with filling! The tuna one had slightly less filling but was equally delicious. Lastly, the egg mayo was pretty good. Usually, I’m not an egg mayo fan as the mayo can get overwhelming but the egg mayo ratio was perfect!

I highly suggest trying these sandwiches as they are not only convenient but also tasty! Apart from that, the bright colours of the packaging are also really nice and add a fun touch to the sandwiches.

In fact, after trying this I went ahead to buy the Prawn Salad Sandwich ($3.60) from the 7-Eleven store near me. In addition, since these are made freshly, those close to the best by date are usually sold at a discounted price!

There are 5 other sandwiches like the classic 7-SELECT Chicken Ham with Cheese Sandwich ($3.40) and 7-SELECT Tuna Sandwich ($3.40). Looking to spice things up? The 7-SELECT Honey Mustard Roasted Chicken Sandwich ($3.70) would be a good choice. Lastly from the 7-SELECT Double Combo Sandwiches, there are two varieties – Chicken Ham with Cheese + Egg with Cheese ($3.70) or Chicken Katsu + Egg & Potato Salad ($3.70).
