Singtel launches SPOTV (CH 114) and SPOTV 2 (CH 115), two dedicated sports channels from the South Korea-based Eclat Media Group on Singtel TV on 11 October.
Through the SPOTV channels, sports fans will be able to catch the live action from some of the biggest world sporting events such as MotoGP, Wimbledon, US Open Tennis Championships, British Open Golf and World Table Tennis tournaments.
From 11 October to 8 November, all Singtel TV customers will enjoy free previews of both channels. Fans of MotoGP can catch the world’s fastest motorcycle racers as they compete at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli in Italy from 22 to 24 October.
Singtel TV customers who are subscribed to the World Sports pack and all Variety, Value and Ultimate packs, as well as Singtel CAST customers who are subscribed to the Sports Plus pack will be able to enjoy these two channels at no additional charges.
Avid tennis fans can look forward to the live coverage of two highly anticipated tennis tournaments Wimbledon in June and the US Open Tennis Championships happening in August next year. Both tournaments will see the world’s biggest tennis stars such as Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer battle for titles.
Having secured the broadcast rights for Formula 1 and Ultimate Fighting Championship events, Singtel TV customers will not miss a single match from these popular live sporting events following the closure of FOX Sports channels.
In addition to SPOTV, other new channels include Astro Cricket (CH 123) and EUROSPORT (CH 116), which feature international cricket events and other premium sporting events. These channels are also available on Singtel TV GO and CAST.
