Five Innovative Sporting Products for Family Fun at home with Decathlon

Covid-19 restrictions had made it harder to engage in group sports, but that doesn’t mean you should stop exercising and maintain a healthy lifestyle with your family and closest friends.

For Asher and I, we have been stocking up our new home with innovative sporting products from Decathlon that made play easy and convenient for just the two of us, at home or just downstairs, without violating any Covid-19 restrictions.

Check out some these best ones we found:

Softarchery Archery Set 100 – S$60

This comes up top on the list because it is so easy to set up within minutes and fun to play. Archery is not a common sport in Singapore, but with this, you can practise archery anytime, anywhere, in the comfort of your home or outdoor.

The soft, rubber tip of the arrows also ensure they are safe for kids to play with them.

2. 3M Badminton Easy Set – S$60

This is our second favourite. Both Asher and I were avid badminton fans before we discovered this innovative product from Decathlon. However, we often played without a net as it is not easy to book or find open badminton courts in Singapore with nets.

With this, we can quickly and easily assemble a net with two badminton rackets, anywhere to enjoy a game for two.

3. 2 Second Easy Tent – S$199

If you love to go outdoor camp, here is a magical tent that you can easily set up within 2 seconds by just opening it up.

The only catch is that the folding back of the tent requires a bit more effort. It took us about 10 minutes to figure it out, but this was on the first try and I am sure we will get quicker with practise.

4. Plastip Dartboard – S$20

Love darts?

Decathlon’s Plastip Dartboard comes with darts with soft tips to ensure you don’t damage. your wall at home when you shoot your darts.

5. OLU 120 – S$20

This is a snorkeling observation buoy designed for kids and adults alike. It allows you to view marine life without having to put your head underwater – and hence it allows you to chat while enjoying the view. It’s also an ideal product for kids who are not so confident in swimming yet to still view marine life.

Although both Asher and I are proficient swimmers, we found it useful when dipping in the sea by the beach to lay back and relax while observing what is underwater.

There are many more fun and innovative products at Decathlon to help everyone to enjoy sports at home or outdoor to keep fit and stay healthy. Best of all, they are all priced extremely reasonably and you won’t have to burn a big hole in your pockets.

Visit the official Decathlon website or one of their many stores across Singapore to discover them for yourself.
