With Mid-Autumn Festival just around the corner, it’s time to stock up on everyone’s favourite tasty tradition, the mooncake. This year, Singapore’s most loved food deliveryservice, Deliveroo, is making it easier for customers to give back over the holiday.
From now till 14 September, Deliveroo will match every mooncake purchased from any of Deliveroo’smooncake restaurants, and have them all donated to beneficiaries of the Alzheimer’s Disease Association.
This donation-in-kind will be freshly baked by the culinary mavens of Orchard Hotel’s Hua Ting Restaurant, who will handcraft White Lotus Paste (Low Sugar) mooncakes for beneficiaries to savour and enjoy. So, you can tuck into your mooncakes safe in the knowledge that you’re giving back to thecommunity this Mid-Autumn.
Alzheimer’s Disease Association was formed in 1990 because of a growing concern for the needs ofpersons living with dementia and their caregivers. Striving towards a dementia inclusive society, the association hopes to reduce stigma by increasing awareness and understanding of dementia, enabling and involving persons living with dementia to be integrated and accepted in the community. They also aspire to lead in the quality of dementia care services for persons living with dementia and their families.
This season, Deliveroo has made it easier than ever to indulge in seasonal sweet treats with friends and family, with a plethora of mooncake options to satisfy every palate.
