Upgraded 2018 Kia Sorento 7-Seater SUV: New Look and Advanced Technology

Kia Motors launched their newest made-better flagship – 2018 Kia Sorento 7-seater SUV – featuring upgraded and handsomer exterior and interior designs. The 2018 Kia Sorento offers combined features of MPV and SUV’s safety standards and innovated in-car technologies as quoted by Alvyn Ang, Director of Kia Operations -Cycle & Carriage Singapore.

Enhanced  Exterior and Interior Design with Lower Emission Powertrain

2018 Kia Sorento 7-Seater SUV comes with revised front and rear bumpers, new head and tail LED lamps, and a cool new dark metallic finish to the ‘tiger-nose’ grille. It will be available in two colours – Rich Espresso and Gravity Blue. New designs were also applied on Sorento’s 18-inch (SX) and 19-inch (GT Line) aluminium alloy wheels.

The steering wheel and driver instrument cluster display are further upgraded with soft leather materials. The driver seat is equipped with four-way adjustable lumbar and two-way adjustable lumbar for the passenger seats to provide enhanced comfort and premium touch.

The new 2018 Kia Sorento is also the first Kia SUV equipped with eight-speed automatic transmission. This new in-car technology by Kia provides 143 newly-patented technologies that feature better driving experience with reduced emissions. The new transmission also offers four different drive modes – Eco, Comfort, Sport and Smart – powered by Sorento’s electric Drive Mode Select system. The Drive Mode Select easily adapts to the driver’s convenience depending on road conditions, speed, and driving environments.

To make it more driver-convenient, 2018 Kia Sorento SX and GT Line are equipped with Smart Parking Assist System (SPAS), a keyless entry system, 7.0-inch touchscreen, and infotainment system with Apple CarPlay connectivity.

Upgraded Sorento GT Line Model

Along with the exciting features 2018 Kia Sorento 7-seater SUV has to offer, KIA also introduced a new sporty GT Line variant to the Sorento. The Sorento GT Lines comes with a lot of incredible upgrades such as unique gearshift paddles, Dynamax All-Wheel Drive (AWD) for enhanced stability, Work-IN system on passenger seats, and satin chrome highlights throughout the interior. The exterior was also remodelled to distinguish it from other Sorento’s, featuring four-lamp LED fog lights, red brake calipers, more prominent sill step, and exclusive GT Line badging design.
