Nasi lemak and Coca-Cola for 52 cents, don’t lugi hor

When McDonald’s Singapore launched its nasi lemak burger, which is sold out btw, there were excessive complaints on social media saying it wasn’t authentic enough because there was no nasi (rice) in its nasi lemak burger.

Since you asked for nasi lemak, you will get nasi lemak and more from food delivery service Deliveroo this National Day.

In celebration of Singapore’s 52nd birthday, Deliveroo will be delivering hungry Singaporeans nasi lemak and Coca- Cola for just S$0.52 for one day only on 3 August. Don’t lugi (to lose out on something)!

This is part of the food delivery service’s month-long celebrations for National Day, which will also see Deliveroo “rebrand” with a Singlish-inspired name, Deliver-Lah!.

In partnership with Crave and Coca-Cola Singapore, Deliveroo riders will bring Crave’s Nasi Lemak Satay Chicken with a can of Coca-Cola Classic or Coca- Cola Zero Sugar straight to your doorsteps for just 52 Singapore cents.

Have your nasi lemak fix with Crave’s blend of fragrant basmati rice, crispy fried chicken, ikan bilis (anchovies) and sambal chilli topped with a sunny side-up egg, and paired with a can of Coca-Cola.

This is only available from 2pm to 4pm to those in Bishan, Clementi, Farrer Park, Harbourfront, Hougang, Orchard, Punggol, Tanjong Pagar and Yishun.

This awesome lobang won’t be around for long so set your alarms and get ready to order the most delicious National Day celebration yet.
