Getting our hands all powdered up

Before we tucked into all the gourmet selection of mooncakes, we had a first-hand experience dabbling in some mooncake making with Executive Chinese Chef Cheng Hon Chau from Cherry Garden.

He gave us a taste of how mooncake-making really is. While it looks pretty simple, there’s certainly an art to mooncake-making. In fact, it took us several tries to get the entire process right.

After a couple of tries, here’s the result. Not too bad, right?

Ta-dah! Now we can’t await to bite into the delicate snow skin and palatable fillings in the mooncake after the interactive showcase by the esteemed executive chef.
