Vegan rojak, raclette cheese sandwich, salted egg yolk cookies and more at OFC Social Market

The Open Farm Community (OFC) Social Market is back with a sunset series for the first time.

Held on 22 and 23 July, the 10th edition of OFC Social Market will take place later in the day from 3pm to 8pm instead of its usual daytime format.

Taking its cue from local foodie culture, the two-day market will bring together some of the island’s best artisanal bakers, gourmet grocers, small-batch producers, and modern-day hawkers – in a strong showing of homegrown Singaporean eats.

Market-goers can feast their way through a plethora of fresh food options by local vendors; from Bao Maker’s Asian-inspired buns to salted egg yolk cookies fresh from the ovens of Chefy Bakehouse.

Dig into a toss up of Rojak Line’s flavourful vegan rojak, make your own raclette cheese sandwich with perennial crowd pleaser The Raclette Movement, and bring home a slice of savoury quinoa cake from QUIRC.

OFC will also be setting up its own booth at the market, offering a freshly made selection of fruit juices, almond milk, and cold brews; along with an outdoor barbecue where farm-fresh festival grub is served hot off the grill.

For a proper sit-down meal, the restaurant offers all-day respite from the bustling marketplace; fuel up for the day ahead with a hearty weekend brunch, or wind down from the festivities over dinner and sunset cocktails.

More than just a day of feasting, the market grounds will also play host to communal activities for all ages.

Shake up a storm at a cocktail masterclass hosted by Bacardi Legacy 2017 finalist Jonathan Lee of Tippling Club, make your own flower crown at a nifty Gathered+Styled workshop, or simply take a leisurely stroll through OFC’s flourishing outdoor farm.
