It’s IPPT Photoshop time!

Are you upset over the news regarding the rumoured IPPT upgrade from 2.4km to 3.2km run?

There is some flip-flopping by MINDEF over the announcement.

I have a hunch that the target is to increase the 2.4km run for IPPT to 6.9km in year 2030. MINDEF needs to write an IPPT white paper to justify the feasibility first and to seriously consider conscripting all Singaporean men to serve reservist till 90 years old. This is necessary to keep Singapore safe.

The creative folks at EDMW forum have came up with a fun way to vent their frustrations – photoshop fun with IPPT!

This is the original IPPT standing broad jump image seen in a Straits Times news report:

Standing broad jump demonstration

Here are some of my favourite photoshopped images:

In future, all NSFs and NSmen need to do a parachute jump during NDP to pass IPPT
In future, all NSmen and NSFs must be able to slam dunk like Michael Jordan to pass IPPT
Standing broad jump helped US to win WW2
In future, all NSFs and NSmen must be able to jump over a moving MRT train to pass IPPT
“Ponding” is not an issue if you know how to do a standing broad jump
In future, all NSmen and NSFs must be able to do this after jumping in order to pass IPPT
This will be the new punishment for those who fail the standing broad jump station in IPPT.
Because normal standing broad jump is too mainstream. Add some sharks.
In future, Felix Baumgartner’s dive from space is the minimum pass grade for standing broad jump in IPPT
In future, all NSmen and NSFs need to win an Olympic gold medal to pass IPPT
Standing broad jump trains soldiers to enter protected area safely
Titanic…
Band of Brothers…
E.T. movie?

Don’t we all just love MINDEF and IPPT?

My birthday just passed yesterday. I am so looking forward and excited to attend my next 18 sessions of IPT/RT.

I cannot wait to MR…. then I can be like in this image:

MR lor!!!!!!! Give me back my civilian life and don’t bother me any more!
