Two weeks ago, I went to the launch of Colosseum, a cyber gaming centre which touts itself as the biggest in Singapore with over 200 gaming terminals and 20 hardcore, high-end “Predator” machines for VIP gamers which cost over S$6000 each.
Colosseum is part of Tornado, a 32 thousand square feet combined Integrated Entertainment Centre located in Iluma shopping complex. Tornado collectively occupied the entire top floor and half of the floor just below the cinema.
From the outside, Colosseum looks like just another regular dimly-lit cyber gaming centre. However, upon stepping it, I was immediately awed by the giant 25m LCD screen which was playing some fighting game animation.
I was impressed.
Nonetheless, I am not a hardcore gamer and am therefore not their target audience. It’s best left fo the professional gamers to decide if Colosseum is worth visiting. I am not sure about the prices also. Any have more feedback about this new place, please feel free to drop a comment below. 🙂
