The Bitter Stickgirl is a great home-grown web comic which has been around since 2005. The illustrations are mostly single panel and clean-cut. That’s where the appeal lies as it has a down-to-earth and sincere feel.
The blog site had quietly attracted close to one million hits to date, without much media publicity. Worth taking a look. I highly recommend it and regret I did not notice it earlier. 🙂
