Moving Images 10th Anniversary Celebrations

I went for the opening night of the above-mentioned event at the Substation last Friday. I am also going for the closing night screening of the Best of First Take 2007:

On Friday, I only managed to catch Jacen Tan’s Zo Hee as I knocked off work late. I have always enjoyed Jacen’s works. I like his gungho, can-do spirit – shooting film by film on shoestring budgets and poor equipments. Yes, the video quality is raw, but that’s also the beauty of his works.
