Sydney with Scoot: Sydney Harbour Bridge BridgeClimb and Lunch at Otto Ristorante

On the second day of my trip to Sydney with Scoot, we visited Sydney Harbour Bridge to do the BridgeClimb in the morning and had lunch at a modern Italian restaurant, Otto Ristorante in the afternoon.

This is the second time I am doing the Express BridgeClimb on the Sydney Harbour Bridge. I would not be blogging in details about the climb this time round; you can read more about the BridgeClimb experience via my previous blog post.

The Express Climb is the fastest way to the top of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. It takes around 2 hours to complete and is catered at busy travelers who may not have 3 hours to spare for the standard climb.

How was it like the second time round?

I managed to climb easier this time, being more familiar with the procedures and routes. This gave me more time to enjoy the lovely Sydney scenery on the way up  and the exhilarating view from the top of the bridge, with strong wind flapping into my face.

Nonetheless, the morning exercise from the BridgeClimb still made us very hungry.

At the forefront of modern Italian cuisine in Sydney, Otto Ristorante offers a harbourside location on Cowper Wharf, Woolloomooloo. Attracting both local and international acclaims for its ambience and style, Otto is one of Sydney’s most popular and best-loved restaurant.

The meal was wonderful, with good food, excellent service and a great harbourside view. I particularly like the yellow flounder main which I had. It taste so good I cleaned up the whole plate, sides and all.

After lunch, I will be heading to Wild Life Sydney and Madame Tussauds Sydney at Darling Harbour to mingle with animals and celebrities. Stay tuned to my next Sydney with Scoot post. :)
