Butterbear Takes Over orchardgateway with Cute Photo Spots, Shopping Rewards and Sweet Treats Until 18 October

Butterbear fans have more reasons to visit orchardgateway this October, as the shopping mall rolls out a Butterbear-themed celebration featuring larger-than-life inflatables, interactive activities, exclusive collectibles and shopping rewards ahead of the sold-out Butterbear Happy Walk on 17 October.

Running until 18 October 2026, the mall-wide activation offers shoppers a chance to enjoy Butterbear-themed experiences while exploring orchardgateway’s range of food, retail and lifestyle offerings.

Shoppers can enjoy exclusive rewards with qualifying purchases during the promotion. Those who spend a minimum of $120 can redeem a $10 voucher and a one-hour free parking coupon. Shoppers who spend $250 can also receive a Butterbear Blind Box featuring one of four eco bag and charm designs.

One of the highlights is the collection of Butterbear photo opportunities around the mall. These include a 4-metre-high Butterbear inflatable at the Plaza and a 2-metre-high inflatable in front of Jian Cha at B1. Festive flags, celebratory banners and themed standees featuring Butterbear in different looks will also be displayed throughout the shopping centre.

Fans who cannot make it during the main celebration will still have time to take photos with the adorable character, as the Butterbear inflatables will remain at orchardgateway until 1 November 2026.

Beyond the Butterbear festivities, visitors can explore several dining spots and hands-on activities for a full day out.

Among the mall’s newer additions is Noci Bakehouse, a Korean-inspired bakery and café serving signature salt breads, bagels and an outlet-exclusive selection of panuozzo. Those looking for something sweet can head to Nasty Cookie for its Halal-certified chunky cookies, available in flavours such as Dark Choc Sea Salt, White Choc Bueno and Red Velvet Crumble.

For a refreshing dessert, iMANGO offers signature treats including Mango Cotton Ice and Mango Pomelo Sago Cotton Ice. Japanese food lovers can visit Onori for open-style hand rolls made with Akitakomachi rice, dashi and premium fillings, alongside a selection of matcha drinks.

Visitors who prefer activities beyond shopping and dining can try a game of pool at Tigress by 82Soho, a premium billiards bar featuring tournament-sized tables, table tennis, a full bar and kitchen in an urban-jungle setting.

Those interested in creating their own accessories can join guided silver ring-making workshops at Few Gram Studio, where participants learn to shape, hammer, mould and finish their own 999 silver rings. Soap Ministry offers melt-and-pour workshops that introduce participants to making natural and organic skincare products, while Taoz Ceramics Studio provides pottery wheel experiences and ceramic courses suitable for different skill levels.
