Ísey Skyr, an Icelandic dairy brand, has launched in Singapore with five flavours of skyr, a traditional dairy product known for its thick texture and high protein content.

The range debutes today on 13 October 2026, offering Singaporeans a new option for breakfast, snacks and everyday meals.
Skyr has been part of Icelandic food culture for more than 1,100 years, dating back to the arrival of Nordic settlers. Although often compared with regular and Greek yoghurt, it is made using a distinct production process.

Ísey Skyr is produced by MS Iceland Dairies, a cooperative comprising around 600 family-run dairy farms. The process uses skimmed milk and nearly four times the amount of milk typically used to make regular yoghurt. Ultrafiltration technology helps retain whey proteins, contributing to its protein content and creamy texture.
The products are naturally fat-free and contain live probiotics, calcium and vitamins. According to the brand, the range is also low in carbohydrates and lactose-free.
Five flavours are available at launch, each in a 170g cup: Natural, Vanilla, Strawberry & White Chocolate, Crème Brûlée and Blueberry & Raspberry.

Natural contains 19g of protein per serving and has no added flavouring or sugar. Vanilla offers a sweeter alternative, while Strawberry & White Chocolate combines fruit with white chocolate notes. Crème Brûlée takes inspiration from the dessert, with a caramelised sweetness, while Blueberry & Raspberry features real berries.

To mark its Singapore debut, Ísey Skyr is offering an introductory price of S$5.80, down from the usual price of S$6.15, for a limited time.

The products are currently available at selected Cold Storage and CS Fresh outlets, as well as through RedMart and PandaMart. From 19 October 2026, the range will also be sold at FairPrice Xtra, FairPrice Finest and selected Sheng Siong stores.
The Singapore launch marks the brand’s expansion into Southeast Asia beyond Hong Kong. Ísey Asia Limited, headquartered in Hong Kong, represents the brand across Hong Kong, Greater China and Singapore.

Skyr can be eaten on its own or used in recipes. Suggested serving ideas include breakfast bowls with bananas and granola, chocolate chia pudding, cheesecake-inspired desserts and sauces for grilled meat.
