Red Bull has brought freerunning to new heights in Singapore with a high altitude capture the flag race across Resorts World Sentosa (RWS), featuring international freerunners Dominic Di Tommaso and Noa Diorgina alongside two leading parkour athletes from Southeast Asia.

Di Tommaso teamed up with Thai parkour athlete Spinboy, while Diorgina was paired with Singaporean athlete Koh Chen Pin, also known as CP, from Lion City Parkour. The teams raced across several of RWS’ most recognisable attractions in a course designed to combine speed, agility and acrobatic movement.

The challenge began on the roof of Singapore Oceanarium and its distinctive blue spine, a sweeping architectural structure where the athletes ran and flipped across its curves approximately 90 feet above ground. The sequence marked the first time athletes had performed these movements across the structure.

The course then took the teams to The Laurus, a Luxury Collection Resort, where the athletes cleared a series of 10-foot roof gaps across a section located nine storeys above ground.

From there, the race continued through WEAVE, RWS’ retail and lifestyle destination, before moving to Universal Studios Singapore. The teams started the next section in front of the iconic Universal Studios globe, travelled along Hollywood Boulevard and passed Mel’s Drive In before reaching Far Far Away Castle.

Outside Hotel Ora, Di Tommaso and Spinboy tackled the exterior walls and jumped across a series of handrails positioned eight feet apart. At the same time, Diorgina and CP took an indoor route through the Open Ocean gallery at Singapore Oceanarium, which houses Southeast Asia’s largest viewing tank with a capacity of 18 million litres.

The race ended at the Grand Steps, where the athletes sprinted down a three-flight staircase before Di Tommaso and Diorgina battled for the final flag.

The project marked the first freerunning race of this scale to be held in Singapore. RWS provided a backdrop spanning attractions, accommodation, retail and entertainment venues, showcasing its integrated hospitality offering while giving the athletes a range of environments for the challenge.

As the race took place in public spaces with spectators present, Red Bull and RWS said comprehensive safety measures and risk assessments were implemented for each section of the course, with professional supervision throughout the project.

The Singapore project is the latest in Di Tommaso’s series of Red Bull freerunning projects at iconic locations. His previous projects have included the Pyramids and Sphinx in Cairo and the Sydney Opera House, where he became the first athlete to freerun across the venue.

The project also comes as parkour continues to develop across Southeast Asia, with established crews such as Team Farang and emerging athletes contributing to the growth of the urban sport in the region.

The freerunning project coincides with Resorts World Sentosa’s Festival of Thrills, which runs until 1 November 2026. The islandwide celebration includes Universal Studios Singapore Halloween Horror Nights 14, F1 activations at WEAVE and dining experiences by Michelin starred chefs, alongside the resort’s hotels, attractions and entertainment offerings.
