JBL is bringing karaoke to its PartyBox speakers with the launch of the new JBL EasySing Mics, a pair of wireless microphones designed to turn compatible PartyBox speakers into personal karaoke machines.
The microphones feature JBL’s on device AI Vocal Removal technology, which can reduce the original vocals from any track in real time. Users can tap a button on the microphone to choose how much of the original vocals they want to retain, with options equivalent to around 75%, 50% or 0% of the vocals. This allows singers to keep the original voice as a guide or remove it completely for a full karaoke experience.
The EasySing Mics also feature a built in Voice Boost mode designed to enhance vocals, along with vocal effects presets that can be used to customise a performance.
Setup is designed to be straightforward. Users simply connect the included dongle to the USB C port on a compatible JBL PartyBox speaker and start singing. Through the JBL One App, users can access EQ controls, choose from different singing presets or make manual adjustments. The app also provides access to vocal effects such as reverb and echo.
JBL says the microphones deliver studio comparable clarity, while each set includes two microphones for duets and karaoke battles. The wireless system offers a range of up to 30 metres, while the microphones provide up to 10 hours of average battery life on a single charge.
The JBL EasySing Mics are priced at S$269 per pair and are available through the JBL Online Store and authorised leading retailers in Singapore.
With the combination of wireless microphones, real time vocal removal and PartyBox compatibility, the EasySing Mics offer JBL users a simpler way to turn their existing speaker setup into a karaoke system without complicated equipment.
