Held under the theme “Don’t Waste A Good Time”, this year’s festival brought together 74 local brands, 24 workshops and talks, eight partners and community organisations, as well as animal welfare initiatives. For the first time, the festival extended its programming until 10pm in conjunction with Singapore Night Festival, giving visitors more opportunities to explore its shopping, food, installations, workshops and interactive experiences after dark.

The festival focused on making sustainability more accessible through hands on experiences that demonstrated how everyday materials and resources could be reused, reimagined and given a second life.

Returning for the fourth consecutive year, Mercedes-Benz presented “What Does Your Tomorrow Respond To?”, a solar powered kinetic installation made from 800 reclaimed aluminium cans collected by environmental services and waste management company Cora. L’Occitane en Provence also made its GREEN-HOUSE debut with its Big Little Things recycling programme, which invited visitors to bring clean, dry beauty empties from any brand to an on-site collection point. A total of 747 beauty empties were collected during the festival.

Other experiences included “Eat Your Scraps!” by nottofu and Bricolage, a six-course walking experience that transformed commonly discarded food scraps into dishes. GoRentalSG’s Power to Empower lounge highlighted the impact of reliable solar energy, while OATSIDE’s Sip & Go offered visitors complimentary Matcha Oat Milk.

GREEN-HOUSE has grown considerably since its launch in 2022, when it began as a small shophouse pop up in Geylang that attracted 3,600 visitors. This year’s attendance represented an 8 percent increase from the 19,200 visitors recorded at the 2025 edition.

More than 250 visitors participated in workshops and talks during the latest festival, including Brew Your Own Kombucha and Herbal Dehumidifier Making. More than 200 people also joined special programmes such as the Eat Your Scraps! Guided Dining Experience and Learn About Beauty Product Claims and How To Recycle Beauty Packaging.

The extended evening programme added a new dimension to the festival, with the Mercedes-Benz installation becoming one of the key after dark attractions as visitors explored the marketplace, installations and activations after sunset.

Beyond sustainability, GREEN-HOUSE continued to focus on social impact through partnerships with social enterprises including weareSuper, E.VOL Studio, Singapore Fashion Runway and METTA Welfare Association. These initiatives created opportunities for visitors to interact and engage with persons with disabilities through shared activities and conversations.

The festival also expanded its programme to include pets for the first time. Rescue dogs from Paws of JB joined the event, while Parrot Society SG hosted games and activities focused on parrot welfare. Nature Society Singapore introduced visitors to Singapore’s lesser-known wildlife and natural ecosystems, while pet focused brands including The Dog Grocer, Woof Living and Ollie showcased treats, toys and pet friendly home products.

This year’s GREEN-HOUSE Merch Store was transformed into a small pop-up record store, with walls made from rescued and recycled materials. Every dollar of profit from the store will go towards NParks’ 100K Corals Initiative.

Among the merchandise was the limited-edition Doodle for Good T shirt, featuring artwork created during a chain doodling session involving 50 strangers at a Let’s HangOut with Temasek Shophouse session. Centred on ocean conservation, the collaborative artwork helped raise S$8,280 for NParks’ 100K Corals Initiative.

The festival’s next chapter will begin with GREEN-HOUSE REMIX @ COMMON RARE, a new retail pop up concept taking place from 18 to 20 September 2026 at Suntec City Convention Hall. Running from 12.30pm to 9pm, the pop up will take inspiration from a record store and cater to climate curious visitors and those interested in discovering new ideas.

The concept will feature vinyl cover inspired walls made from rescued and recycled materials, alongside exclusive GREEN-HOUSE merchandise and a selection of local brands.

Following its fifth anniversary milestone, GREEN-HOUSE is set to continue developing its partnerships, programming and community experiences, creating opportunities for Singaporeans and visitors to discover local ideas, connect with one another and take part in sustainability and positive community initiatives.
