Sing Lit Station has opened registration for Camp Lit 2026, its annual creative writing camp for secondary school students aged 13 to 16. This year’s edition, titled Sing Lit Pop Hunters and inspired by the Netflix film K-pop Demon Hunters, will take place from 1 to 3 December 2026 at lyf Funan.
The three-day, non-residential programme brings together up to 30 young writers for workshops, talks and camp activities led by local writers. Through the theme of pop culture and fandom, participants will explore self-identity, storytelling and creative expression while developing their writing alongside peers with similar interests.
The intimate setting is designed to give participants close guidance from facilitators while creating opportunities to connect with fellow young writers and published authors. By the end of the camp, participants will have worked on their creative writing skills, explored aspects of their identity through storytelling and developed connections within Singapore’s literary community.
This year’s theme draws on the interests of young people, using pop culture and fandom as a gateway into storytelling and self-expression. Workshops and talks throughout the three days will build on the theme, giving participants a cohesive creative experience from the beginning to the end of the camp.
Registration is available to individual participants at S$420 per person. An early bird rate of S$375 is available until 30 September 2026. Schools registering at least three students can access the School Partner Rate of S$360 per participant.
Camp Lit 2026 will be held at lyf Funan, 67 Hill Street, #04-01, Singapore 179370. The camp is limited to 30 participants and is open to secondary school students aged 13 to 16.
Registration is available through the Sing Lit Station website. MOE schools may also be eligible to claim up to 50% of the camp fees through the Tote Board Arts Grant under the Public Arts Programme.
