IKEA Singapore is turning its stores into interactive destinations this September with a month of activities built around its new “Make space for what you love” campaign. The initiative focuses on helping Singapore households make better use of their space while creating more room for hobbies, family time and everyday moments.

A major highlight is the first ever IKEA HEJ FIT Challenge, created in partnership with Volvo. Taking place at IKEA Tampines on 19 and 20 September, the challenge will see selected IKEA Family members compete in teams of two across a series of activities designed to get participants moving while incorporating creative uses of everyday IKEA storage products.

Participants will have the opportunity to take on a fitness circuit and endurance challenges, with the overall prize being a chance to drive home a brand new, fully electric and urban friendly Volvo EX30. Up to 200 selected participants who complete the challenges will also receive an exclusive HEJ FIT finisher medal.
Registration is open to IKEA Family members at IKEA stores and online until 9 September 2026. Members who register in person at an IKEA Singapore store will receive additional chances to be selected based on every $50 spent. Terms and conditions apply.
Visitors to IKEA Tampines on 19 and 20 September from 11am to 6pm can also participate in selected Endurance Challenges on a first come, first served basis. Participants will stand a chance to win $50 IKEA Gift Cards.
For families, IKEA will host its Pillow Fort competition from 18 to 20 September, from 1pm to 3pm at all IKEA stores. Parent and child teams can work together to build imaginative pillow forts using IKEA products, from secret hideaways to castle inspired creations. The activity is designed to encourage creativity, teamwork and family bonding, with prizes available for participants.
New BTO homeowners and those planning to refresh their homes can also find practical ideas at IKEA Jurong’s Home Design showcase. Taking place on 12 and 13 September from 1pm to 8pm at the Home Design studio on Level 2, the showcase will allow visitors to meet IKEA experts, explore home design inspiration and discover ideas for maximising every square metre. Special deals on Home Design Service will also be available.
The “Make space for what you love” campaign also highlights IKEA storage solutions designed for different areas of the home. The BILLY Bookcase in oak effect, measuring 80x28x202cm and priced at $109, offers adjustable shelves for organising books and displaying personal belongings. Its back panel uses snap fittings, allowing the bookcase to be assembled and disassembled more easily when moving homes.

For bedrooms, the PAX/FORSAND Wardrobe combination in dark grey and oak effect measures 170x60x200cm and is priced at $820. With hanging space, shelf storage, soft closing door hinges and a 10-year guarantee, the combination is designed to help organise clothing and accessories.
Families with children can consider the TROFAST Storage combination with boxes in pine, lilac and light blue. Measuring 94x44x91cm and priced at $184, the flexible storage solution is designed for organising toys, books and craft or study supplies while encouraging children to tidy up independently.
The KALLAX Shelving unit, measuring 77x147cm and priced at $89.90, provides another flexible storage option for books, photographs and decorative items. It can be positioned vertically as a shelving unit or horizontally as a sideboard.
For living rooms, the BESTÅ Storage combination with glass doors in white Lappviken and Sindvik white clear glass measures 120x42x193cm and costs $570. The storage solution is designed to accommodate everyday essentials and personal collections, and comes with a 10-year guarantee.
For smaller items, bedding and household supplies, the SAMLA Box with lid measures 57x39x28cm and is priced at $10.90. Its stackable design helps households make better use of available storage space while keeping items protected from dust.
Food is also part of IKEA Singapore’s September activities, with new limited time dishes and family value offers available throughout the month.

From 14 to 27 September, diners can enjoy the Hearty Chicken Curry in a Bread Bowl at an IKEA Family price of $7.90, down from the regular price of $8.90. The offer is available from 11am to 9pm for dine in only.

They can choose from Organic Penne Pasta with tomato sauce, five Plant Balls with mashed potato, five Swedish Meatballs with mashed potato, or a two-piece Tempura Chicken Strips meal. Each children’s meal normally costs $4.50 and comes with juice and ice cream.
